Minimalist Modern Forest Home

Quiet architecture surrounded by nature.

Designed as a secluded retreat in the Catskill foothills, this single-story home embraces simplicity, efficiency, and a deep connection to its surroundings. Large expanses of glass frame the trees and sky while carefully designed solar shading, heat pumps, and energy recovery ventilation create exceptional comfort throughout the seasons.

Working closely with both the builder and clients, we refined every detail to balance contemporary design with sustainable performance. The result is a home that feels calm, grounded, and beautifully connected to the landscape.
